Meet Jennifer

I didn’t realize how hard it would be to write an “about me” section until I got here lol. It’s kind of intimidating, especially for someone who is not the most creative writer like myself!  So here it goes!!!!!!…….I am a very simple and humble person. I love God, He fills my heart with happiness :). I am married to my best friend and we have 3 amazingly cool boys.  They are all 3 so unique in their own way and such sweet little men…..we live out in the country on a dirt road and love it!!!  Our garden keeps getting bigger and bigger each year as the kids grow…and every year my heart grows bigger and bigger with all the love I have for my kids and family.  Our life is pretty simple and down to earth.  In the summertime you will hear a lot of giggles as they chase each other around the yard in their bare feet.  As the sun sets and the crickets start making music, we may fill mason jars with lightning bugs or hang out by the campfire.  Our sandbox is a large tractor tire and a lot of little hands have been through all of that sand.  Crick’ water is our closest pool and I wouldn’t want it any other way.  In the colder months, if we aren’t outside throwing snowballs, then we usually end up gathered around cups of hot chocolate and marshmallows…I don’t think my kids will ever outgrow that stuff lol.  Bedtime always starts with prayer and I have to admit, my kids are such good little prayer warriors.  I am a morning person and love to get a good jumpstart to the day.  My favorite day of the week is Sunday.  I married into a huge loving family and for that I am very grateful.  I am a tomboy at heart, but that only comes natural when you grow up with 4 brothers:) I bet you are wondering when the “photo” talk will come into all of this right??  Haha, well it is definitely a big part of my daily life.  Call me weird, but I cannot drive down the road or go somewhere without thinking “ooooooo that would be a good spot or check out that gorgeous light.”  I am self taught and have my own style…I don’t want to be anyone but myself.  I continue to learn everyday and hope to get better and better.  I am unbelievably camera shy!  I am so comfortable behind the camera but if you turn it around I don’t know what to do lol.  Maybe with time I will get better and be in more photos…but until then, I hope you enjoyed this short glimpse into my simple life.  And thank you so much for taking the time to visit my website and maybe someday we will meet out in a beautiful field or along a quiet dirt road and snap some photos:)
