Well, a photo session with me is not like what you would expect in a typical studio…..After you book your session, we will go over time and location. Those two components are very important and what make your session one of a kind. For outdoor shoots, I prefer the early morning light or the “golden” hour (which is an hour or so before sunset). This time is so magical and as a photographer it is something I live for!!!! My locations change with the seasons and I am always scouting for new spots. So what should you prepare for???? Prepare to relax, be yourselves, and have a good time. We will definitely get you a few of the “posed” shots where everyone is looking at the camera, but the main part of the session will be you being yourself…..kissing your precious baby on the cheek, looking into your husband/wife’s eyes and smiling, tickling your 2 year old, or holding tight to your loved one. You will rarely hear me tell a young child to smile or say ‘cheeeeeze’…..Instead, I will do everything within my silly power to get them to naturally smile. I have been known to play peek a boo, pull out the tickle hand, blow bubbles, or say some pretty funny things to get that sweet smile on camera. And don’t mind me while I stop for a minute to “check the light” to make sure it is just perfect…..and just go with the flow if you see me lay on the ground to get a shot or roll around to an awkward to position to get the right angle lol. I strive to photograph the real you! When you look back on your images I want you to “hear” the giggles and see the true emotions from your session…. I want your heart to melt as you see your precious memories frozen in time….
